The funds are meant to assist the Haitian relief effort stemming from the disastrous earthquake last month. There are 398 Haitian immigrants in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, Florida, who have been granted Temporary Protected Status (TPS) by President Barack Obama. |
